Please note that life coaching is very different from therapy.

First of all, therapy focuses on the past whereas life coaching focuses on the present and future.

Second, therapy operates through a problem-focused approach (which is necessary and extremely helpful in many cases) whereas coaching uses a solution- focused approach.

Life coaching requires functional individuals. If a person experiences depression, addiction or any mental health issue, therapy is the best for them to heal their wounds first before starting any coaching.
