6-Month Coaching Package
This program is an invitation to C-Suite executives and team managers who struggle with a poor work/life balance, lack of productivity and who neglect their physical and mental health. They want to prioritize their well-being, learn about self-care so they can develop an impactful and confident leadership.
They want to learn how to take better care of themselves but don’t know how nor have the time to do it properly so they give up on themselves altogether. Their ultimate motivation is to show up as an effective leader at work and as a present and loving parent and spouse at home.
The best leaders and managers are all about taking care of their team—that’s what makes them great. It’s a big responsibility that’s added on top of the business goals and targets that every manager owns. It might seem like this level of care is all about being “selfless.” But that’s not really how it works.
The most successful leaders and managers are those who understand the importance of taking care of themselves. And managers who don’t make time for self-care inevitably run themselves ragged.
In this program, leaders like you learn to build their caring for others on a strong foundation of self-care. You work with me over the span of six months (12 sessions) on the following topics:
- Recognize your worth. Worth is the foundation to everything and where you have to start. If you don’t consider yourself and your body as worthy of care, you won’t prioritize them when faced with imminent deadlines and high-stake meetings. This is about balancing your needs and others’. If you’re not willing to cancel a meeting with another person but you cancel on yourself regularly, it’s not a time issue, it’s a worth issue. Through our coaching conversations to raise your self-awareness and practices to implement between our sessions, we work together on restoring your sense of worth and addressing any obstacle that might stand in your way.
- Set clear and healthy boundaries between your work and your personal life. Overlapping work and personal life can lead to chronic stress, resentment and exhaustion. Maintaining clear and compassionate boundaries between your work life and your personal life can help you succeed at work and enhance your happiness. We define together the steps to successfully create your own boundaries, such as determining your own working hours, confidently saying “No” more often, creating a dedicated workspace, using technology wisely, delegating effectively, etc. We also work together on your ability to clearly and confidently communicate your boundaries to others. This will allow you to experience better concentration and productivity during work hours as well as ensure dedicated time for personal activities and family and/or fun time.
- Workload management. Effectively managing your workload is a form of self-care. It is an important part of completing your tasks within regular working hours, reducing the need for excessive overtime. We review your work goals in a way that clearly conveys the impact you want to make; you learn about prioritization frameworks in order for you to categorize tasks and allocate the right resources to them. Such level of clarity frees up more of your time so you can think more strategically and contributes directly to your own productivity as well as your direct reports’ professional development. It also contributes to a more positive workplace that values constructive feedback, shared responsibility and everyone’s well-being.
- Sharpen your competitive edge with self-care practice. In the current employment landscape, this is about building your greatest competitive edge: your health and well-being. When everyone has the same educational and levels of work experience, your self-care practices are what set you apart. In order to thrive as a leader and as a human, we must begin with self-care. Like in an airplane, putting your oxygen mask first to remain conscious so you can help others is not to be taken lightly. Being a leader implies that you support others and that you “walk your talk” (not perfectly but intentionally and consistently) and help others do the same. First, we will redefine self-care. Many executives limit self-care to having a workout routine, a healthy diet, getting a massage in a spa, etc. It is important to explore self-care beyond those traditional practices. For example, self-care could be: not picking up the phone when you know the call will be draining, discerning between meetings you must attend and those you don’t have to, going to bed on time, avoiding useless distractions, etc. We will create your own learning laboratory to test new self-care strategies, challenge yourself, create new healthy habits and establish lifestyle change where you will be able to show up as an effective and caring leader. I will support you to remain disciplined with your self-care practices by helping you reconnect to your most important values. This way, you will start practicing self-care out of respect and love for yourself. Your motivation becomes then intrinsic and feels like a second nature to you. By following a holistic self-care plan, you’re entering a new and life-changing way of existence.
- Build a growth mindset. Life feels better and lighter when we view challenges and mistakes as growth opportunities and when we believe we are creators of our own circumstances rather than victims. A lack of work/life balance often stems from tolerating what life gives us, even if it feels deeply dissatisfying, rather than coming up with different and better scenarios that meet our most important needs. Many executives and team leaders find themselves in roles that aren’t aligned with their true interests and capabilities and end up feeling numb, like “robots” simply going through the motion. When we tolerate things we don’t want, when we believe “I don’t have the choice”, we fall into a victim mindset (according to the Karpman Triangle). I help you get aligned with what makes you feel alive again, even in the same role you’re currently in (or not), by brainstorming new ideas for you to work on, boosting your confidence in your abilities to pursue and work new and compelling projects, communicating more courageously and cultivating a positive self-image. I help you develop that special talent all exceptional leaders have, converting life’s setbacks into future successes. That’s the mindset all leaders need.
As part of this offer, you’ll receive:
- Twelve 1-on-1 Zoom calls of 60 to 75 minutes each, every other week, over the course of six months.
- Access to resources, assignments, frameworks, and best practices.
- Unlimited feedback over email in between calls.
In order to be a good fit for this offer, you must be an executive or a team manager with at least a 10-year experience in the corporate world or as an entrepreneur. The reason is because people with less experience tend to be hungry to climb the corporate ladder at all coast and don’t realize yet the necessity of self-care and slowing down. This offer speaks to seasoned executives and team managers who did everything by the book to “succeed” but now feel as if they hit a plateau, feel unfulfilled and/or exhausted and even burnt out. Those are perfect candidates for this executive self-care program as it will help them shed the light on new strategies for both personal well-being and job satisfaction.
The investment for this 6-month coaching package is 12K C$ – which I think would be a steal even if you learnt and implemented ONE of the items listed above because they are life-changing strategies. Do you put a price tag on your health, your fulfillment at work and your ability to be present and shower your family with love and care? I don’t. My clients don’t either. At the end of the day, people don’t pay for coaching, they pay for transformation.
If you’re not sure whether you’re the right fit or not, just send me an email at hasnaa@hasnaa-akabli.com and we’ll discuss. No strings attached.
When you send your message, give me a sense of where you currently are with your work/life balance and your self-care practices and what you believe is still missing and what you need to focus more on to really achieve the outcomes you want and create the life you want, whether professionally and/or personally.
It would also help to know what specifically attracts you about my services, and what you’re most interested to discuss and work on together.
